CFA Foundation Staff
“Family DOES Matter!” – I believe safeguarding God’s design for the family will help secure our future. As the mom of seven children and wife for 29 years, I have worked as Executive Director since 2014 making my Christian values reality in state and local government. With 16 years of experience in political leadership and campaign work, I saw a need for Christians to step into roles that will influence society and public policy. I now help develop strategy, sponsor outreach events and speak on the importance of life, religious freedom and traditional family values.
“Everybody is a teacher – and everybody is a student” – Previously, I was a teacher at St. Thomas More in Centennial. I began working with CFA and CFAF in 2012. My job was “recruiting” volunteers and educating voters. That job wasn’t so far from what I did in my past career – I was teaching citizens the importance of being involved. I believe we all have a lot to offer others, whether it be as simple as kindness or complex as our experience or knowledge. I believe we have a lot to learn from others… I have two adult children and have been married for 31 years…I know first hand how special family is.
“Millennials can make a difference given the right tools and the opportunity to be heard.” I currently attend Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and am studying Political Science and History. I have seen first-hand the potential in my generation to make a difference. But I’m also witness to the effects that a “watered down” education system has had on society. I am a passionate fighter for truth and as such, I feel so blessed to be able to take that passion and apply it in my work with CFA Foundation. The opportunity I have to defend my values by influencing policy and culture is something everyone should experience. CFA Foundation helps to make that possible on so many levels.
